I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming bout.

Ex twice unified title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Mindset

"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Interaction

In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the usual face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
