The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Table

Since the launch of the fourth campaign, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and revealed the first table of adventurers who will split off from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie).

Why Split the Party?

With a large ensemble, it was clear from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the opening chapters of this story serve as an Introduction, intertwining the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for participants who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are scarce.

Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander Halovar might appear out of place, but the actions of the third episode demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise kicked off the narrative’s action—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the secret base, attacking Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then settled his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire pursuing him.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a individual motive to exit the metropolitan area:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having defied his house’s orders to kill the fighter and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could help the party enter areas they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a eternal obligation to Wicander for his salvation and will now go with him anywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a range of causes, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is targeted for elimination by the family.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward the northern region in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to assemble the Explorers and Planners groups.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which characters will be where in the story’s concluding setup installment, released on next week.
